What we Have to Offer
Our Campground
The Campground is open May 15th to September 30th, has 56 seasonal sites, 28 reservable electric sites(30AMP), water, a dumping station, a small playground, and a new shower/washroom building with paid laundry. The filleting station is located at the far end of the campground and is open to anyone. However, visitors are asked to pay $2 per use. Take a relaxing stroll on the road around the campsites, or go a little farther down to the Powerhouse or the boat launch to really explore the beauty of the Saskatchewan River and the Northern Provincial Forest.
Cabins
Our 4 cabins are modern, bright and clean, have hot and cold running water, flush toilets and showers. They are equipped with a full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, BBQ, dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee pot, A/C, Satellite TV, and comfortable beds. We request that you bring your own bedding and towels. Two to four guests per cabin, or 6-7 in the big cabin makes for a very comfortable stay. Obedient pets are allowed.
Our Pool
Take an afternoon off and laze around our heated pool, or take a refreshing swim after a day of fishing. It is covered with clear plastic and also screened in so there are no bugs! The water depth is 8′ in the deep end and 3′ in the shallow end. It is open to anyone for a daily fee of $5 per person per day. The swimming pool will ensure tranquility, privacy and a memorable holiday for all ages. It is open in early June until early September.
Tobin Lake
Tobin Lake is a man-made lake that serves as the reservoir for the E.B. Campbell Hydro-Electric Station. This area is a true fishing dream that offers trophy Northern Pike and Walleye, and plenty of eating size too.
Tobin Lake holds the record Walleye at 18.2 pounds and the largest known Northern Pike landed at 38 pounds. You’ll find a lot of challenge in fishing the 40 mile long, 16 mile wide, Tobin Lake. It’s a scenic four-mile ride from our lodge to where you launch your boat. It is barbless, and there is a size limit on Tobin Lake to allow for plentiful and trophy fish stocks. Please check the rules, limits and boundaries before you fish.
The Saskatchewan River
The Saskatchewan River is a 10-minute walk (you can also drive) to the water to fish offshore by the powerhouse or the boat launch. If you are not a boat enthusiast, or conditions aren’t favorable on the lake, you can spend your time fishing off shore. Excellent fishing for a number of species of fish, including Northern Pike, Walleye, Sauger, Sturgeon, and Goldeye, can be caught along the river bank. People come here from all over North America to fish offshore because fishing is excellent and the fish are plentiful. Another really fun activity is to kayak on the river from here to different pickup locations. Some popular distances are 1.5 miles, 4 miles, and 10 miles downriver.
